Boyne Resorts is seeking a Race Operations Crew Member for The Highlands at Harbor Springs to set up, operate, and maintain the NASTAR giant slalom course daily. You will work outdoors, collaborate with a team, and ensure a safe, race-ready environment for guests and racers.

The role requires advanced skiing ability, prior racing experience, and stamina for long outdoor shifts in varying conditions. Perks include extensive resort benefits and team housing options where available.

Qualifications

• Advanced/Expert skiing ability demonstrated and able to pass on-snow assessment.
• Racing experience in alpine racing, NASTAR, or ski industry is highly preferred.
• Must remain active outdoors and ski for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds and perform demanding tasks.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn race timing systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the NASTAR giant slalom course daily.
• Drill gates, install safety fencing, position timing equipment.
• Inspect course and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Operate start gates and timing systems during races.
• Track racer bib numbers and maintain timing records.
