Job summary
Citizens Trust Bank in Nashville, TN is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer who will source and manage mortgage opportunities, educate clients on underwriting guidelines, and coordinate the full loan application process.
You will build relationships with real estate agents, conduct homebuyer seminars, stay current on banking products and regulations, and provide exceptional service to ensure timely and accurate loan approvals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential mortgage loan origination and business development.
- NMLS Certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, marketing, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage laws and banking regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Researches, identifies and generates lending leads and opportunities.
- Educates clients about underwriting guidelines and regulations.
- Manages loan applications and communicates status with clients.
- Develops relationships with real estate agents and partners.
- Hosts homebuyer seminars and promotes bank products.
- Delivers exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.
- Collaborates with internal teams to achieve production goals.
