Job summary

BB&E is seeking an Environmental Site Lead and Hazardous Waste Manager to oversee on-site coordination for the NASA Glenn program in Cleveland, OH, with a secondary site in Sandusky. The role includes managing a comprehensive hazardous waste program across multiple waste streams in compliance with CFR and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Site Lead with indirect services procurement and subcontract management.
  • Subject matter expert in waste management with multi-media environmental compliance and risk assessments.
  • Experience with federal and state regulatory compliance and risk assessments.
  • Experience coordinating with NASA and regulatory personnel per PWS requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site Environmental Compliance program at NASA Glenn Research Center.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams per PWS.
  • Organize and delegate project work and lead project teams.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide strategic direction for the company and project.
  • Ensure safety plans, deliverables, and regulatory documentation are in place.
