Job summary

BB&E Inc. seeks a Hazardous Waste Lead for NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. You will manage hazardous waste records, track shipments, and develop SOPs while coordinating with site personnel and regulators to ensure compliance.

Required 6+ years in RCRA hazardous waste management, BS degree, OSHA HAZWOPER training, and strong communication. This is a federal-focused environmental role with broad responsibilities and onsite work at JSC.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a federal agency background check is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hazardous waste records and disposal documentation.
• Manage NASA account management system (IDMAX NAMS).
• Use WDTS to track waste records and support meetings.
• Develop SOPs for the hazardous waste program.
• Train users on database systems and WDTS.
