SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a licensed GA Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Sandy Springs, GA. The role supports the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor, manages controlled substances operations, maintains stock, processes returns, and helps ensure pharmacy standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, GA Pharmacy Technician license, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety policies and CARE values.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed GA Pharmacy Technician.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Basic Math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor with daily functions.
  • Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
  • Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
  • Package fill and ship medications.
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
  • Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
