Job summary

SpecialtyRx, a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving facilities around Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Field Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Atlanta, GA. The role requires a GA-licensed technician with LTC experience and the ability to drive within Georgia.

Responsibilities include independent work under supervision, facility communication, ADS management (Pyxis/Omnicell), inventory control, and generating facility reports. Some long-distance travel within GA may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Sandy Springs, GA area.
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
• One year of long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia.

• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
• Replace potentially expiring inventory
• Restock depleted inventory
• Monthly audits (cycle count)
• Provide reports for the facility
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

• Ability to physically perform light lifting
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
