Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist In Charge. You will maintain floor stock, assist with processing medications, and ensure accuracy and safety in daily operations.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus.
• Accurate medication and generic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
• Shifts: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays; 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
