Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor, manage daily controlled-substances duties, restock, and handle returns.

You will follow safety policies, maintain stock integrity, assist with packaging and shipment, and work 2:30pm–11:00pm with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Basic Math and computer skills.
• Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor with daily functions.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
