Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join a team focused on exceptional service and CARE values. The role supports order processing, stock management, and customer communications in a pharmacy setting.

The technician will work under supervision, maintain accurate records, and help ensure compliance with standards and policies. Experience with narcotics room procedures is a plus, and the position emphasizes reliability, organization, and the ability to handle multiple

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Must be reliable and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
  • Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
  • Package fill and ship medications.
  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify orders as needed.
  • Triage incoming faxes.
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintaining adherence policies.
  • Team player and collaborates with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
