Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor and maintain controlled-drug procedures. You will handle floor stock, returns, packaging, and daily tasks, with a 2:30pm–11:00pm schedule and rotating weekends/holidays. Prior pharmacy experience preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor with daily functions.
• Maintain narcotics room and floor stock, restock, and remove expired meds.
• Process returned drugs; recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk medications.
• Package, fill, and ship medications.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Support safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by supervisor.

• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.

• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Schedule

• 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays
