Momentum Indoor Climbing in Naperville, IL, is seeking a General Manager for our new facility. You will oversee Gym Operations, Facility, and Retail staff, ensuring safety, service, and a welcoming environment.

As a launch-location GM, you will partner with department managers, shape guest experiences, and drive community engagement, events, and staff development while upholding Momentum’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 5 years of climbing experience with enthusiasm for the sport (bouldering, sport, and trad preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in people management, customer service, and operational leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication in person, on the phone, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of the facility and lead with integrity.
• Direct Gym Operations, Facility, and Retail teams; manage schedules and performance.
• Support staff engagement, training, and safety programs; ensure top-notch guest service.
• Collaborate with Programs, Routesetting, and Marketing to align with company standards.
• Oversee POS, merchandising, inventory, and facility maintenance.
