Job summary

Momentum Indoor Climbing is seeking an experienced General Manager for our Naperville location. The role oversees all facility operations, safety initiatives, and staff, with a focus on exceptional customer service and community growth.

The GM partners with Department managers to align routesetting, programming, and retail, while launching a new location and upholding Momentum’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in people management and operations leadership.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications required (or obtainable within 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day facility operations and safety.
• Direct Gym Operations, Facility, and Retail teams including hiring and coaching.
• Lead staff meetings and maintain clear communication across departments.
• Collaborate with Programs and Routesetting to align gym operations with standards.
• Manage schedules, timecards, and event coverage to support peak periods.
