Job summary

Safe at Home (SAH), a division of Kennedy Care, is seeking passionate, caring nannies to provide high-quality in-home childcare in East Lansing. You’ll make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexibility and support designed to fit your lifestyle.

We offer 32–40 hours per week, with a Monday–Saturday morning shift option and pay of $16.00–$17.00 per hour. Join a team that values compassion, ongoing training, and growth in your childcare career.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of childcare experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• An undeniable positive, can-do attitude.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of Auto Registration and Insurance.
• Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays (Mon-Fri). A full day is defined as a minimum of eight hours of consecutive availability between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth and development.
• Create a warm, safe, and fun environment for each child in your care.
• Build professional relationships with families to deliver high-quality childcare.
• Communicate openly with families and our SAH team to ensure consistency and support.
• Respond to the emotional, social, and physical needs of each child, keeping safety and well-being top of mind.
• Provide transportation for outings, activities, and errands, ensuring children arrive safely and on time.
