Job summary

Safe at Home is seeking a compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our in-home team in Birmingham, MI. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week with an evening schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 5:30pm–9:30pm, $18.00 per hour.

You’ll provide supportive, age-appropriate childcare to families in your community. As a nanny with Safe at Home, you’ll tailor care to each child, maintain a warm and safe environment, and communicate clearly with families and the SAH team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of childcare experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays (Mon-Fri).

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth and development
• Create a warm, safe, and fun environment for each child in your care
• Build professional relationships with families to deliver high-quality childcare
• Communicate openly with families and our SAH team to ensure consistency and support
