Micron Technology, Inc. invites applications for a Staff/Principal Design Engineer in the NVE Design Engineering organization.

You will drive NAND circuit development through design automation and environment transition, implementing core Xpath/Ypath and integrating core schematics into full-chip layouts with rigorous simulations. You'll lead analog/mixed-signal design activities, model and verify performance, and develop AI-assisted flows to streamline verification, corner planning, and

Qualifications

• MS (PhD preferred) in electrical engineering required.
• 8+ years of NAND design relevant proven experience with NAND read, program and erase algorithms.
• Proficiency in analog/mixed signal circuit design and layout.
• Strong fundamentals in semiconductor physics and reliability issues.
• Experience with circuit verification flows and full-chip simulations.
• Proficiency in Python for engineering automation and EDA tooling.
• Cadence LVS/DRC proficiency and UNIX experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive NAND circuit development through design automation and environment transition.
• Implement core Xpath/Ypath and array design, validate with simulations.
• Design analog/mixed-signal blocks and verify at block and full-chip levels.
• Serve as technical authority across analog/core teams.
• Develop agentic enablement for circuit design including AI/LLM-assisted flows.
• Integrate automation with project execution across multiple teams.
