Job summary

Skillsoft is seeking an experienced North America Market Solutions & Services Sr. Director to drive ARR growth, improve retention, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across five NA markets.

The role combines Sales, Professional Services Delivery, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success, with a player/coach leadership style and global practice ownership. Leadership of MSLs and cross-functional partners is essential in guiding strategy to execution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive management experience in enterprise PaaS spanning Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting/Pre-Sales, and/or Professional Services.
• Overseeing Professional / Managed Services and Solutioning with results-driven growth.
• Proven track record of delivering ARR growth, retention, and expansion in a platform solutions selling motion.
• Proficient in Salesforce and BI tools.
• Deep fluency in MEDDPICC, value-based selling, and end-to-end customer lifecycle management.
• Experience as a practice or system builder with scalable processes and tools.
• Strong operational rigor with forecasting, pipeline inspection, and data-driven outcomes.
• Deep familiarity with North America market dynamics and executive engagement.
• Executive presence with proven ability to engage C-suite customers and internal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Geographical Market Solutions Teams across North America; coach and develop MSLs.
• Ensure end-to-end customer lifecycle execution with MEDDPICC discipline.
• Attend to coaching of solutioning capabilities and transformation initiatives.
• Co-own regional revenue targets: ARR growth, retention, expansion, NPS, platform conversion.
• Define charter and operating model for shared/channel solution teams.
• Drive cross-regional consistency while allowing local tailoring.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and enablement to close feedback loops.
