Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team seeks a Construction Manager to act as the owner's representative for built facilities and infrastructure supporting the logistics network.

You will oversee the full construction lifecycle—from design review and procurement to execution and handover—for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives in your region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amazon's owner's representative and primary construction integrator across all assigned projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from design phase through construction completion and operational handover.
• Conduct detailed reviews of contractor bid packages, budgets, and schedules; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Own comprehensive budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management.
• Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts with developers and general contractors.
