Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR or related/analytical discipline.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of federal/state payroll laws and benefits regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process employee wages with complex calculations (commissions, overtime, bonuses).
• Manage tax withholdings, deductions and garnishments; audit payroll for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare reports (year-end forms).
• Administer and optimize welfare programs for US and Canada.
• Respond to payroll/benefits inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Partner with US/Canada vendors to administer payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with country/state regulations for payroll and benefits.
• Analyze payroll/benefits data for trends, cost savings, and policy improvements.
• Lead Workday implementation for Canadian payroll.
