Responsibilities

• Process employee wages with complex calculations (commissions, overtime, bonuses).
• Manage tax withholdings, deductions and garnishments; audit payroll for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare reports (year-end forms).
• Administer and optimize welfare programs for US and Canada.
• Respond to payroll/benefits inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Partner with US/Canada vendors to administer payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with country/state regulations for payroll and benefits.
• Analyze payroll/benefits data for trends, cost savings, and policy improvements.
• Lead Workday implementation for Canadian payroll.

The analyst oversees the entire employee cycle - from wage calculation to benefits enrollment - while analyzing data, recommending policy improvements, and ensuring system efficiency.
