Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) supports the Military’s Quality of Life programs through CNIC MWR services at Naval Station Everett. The role involves assisting with fitness, recreation, and related activities for service members and families, and overseeing daily administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will perform instructional support, manage facility operations, and ensure safety and proper use of equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fitness, aquatics and sports activities.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with facility hours and events.
• Check patron eligibility to use recreation facilities.
• Use POS to collect fees for sales, rentals and classes.
• Plan, schedule and publicize activities; maintain related supplies.
• Oversee sale of retail items and monitor inventory.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain facilities and equipment.
