Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) in Pensacola, FL, seeks an Administrative Support Specialist for the Food and Beverage Branch at NAS Pensacola. You will perform administrative duties with discretion, support daily operations, and ensure accurate records and customer service.

The role emphasizes office software proficiency, timekeeping, and compliance with DoD/MWR policies while maintaining safe, efficient service in a busy recreation environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general administrative support experience.
• Knowledge of local instruction formulation and KSAs related to social/recreational programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting.
• Familiar with Rec Trac and/or similar POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating local instructions and directives within policy frameworks.
• Maintain patron and employee relations and efficient patron service.
• Keep track of employee hours and time card documentation.
• Receive daily sales, safekeeping, deposits, and accountability of funds.
• Prepare letters, forms, reports, purchase requests, contracts and statistics using a computer.
• Answer phones, take meeting minutes, collect invoices, file correspondence, assist manager.
• Maintain all Food and Beverage Branch employee training requirements.
