EV.Careers partners with a leader in sustainable EV charging technology to recruit a Power Electronics Engineer with deep expertise in high‑voltage, high‑power systems (480V+, 500kW‑1MW). You will establish and lead failure analysis for MW‑scale power systems, working with customers and cross‑functional teams to solve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5–10 years hands-on experience with high-voltage (480V+) and high-power (500kW‑1MW) systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed failure analysis on high-voltage, high-power systems (480V+; 500kW‑1MW).
• Conduct root cause analysis on field returns using FMEA, 8D, and RCA methodologies.
• Analyze interaction between power electronics hardware and embedded software/controls.
• Implement tests to replicate failure modes and validate corrective actions.
• Utilize statistical tools to analyze failure data and identify trends.
