Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer for a high-impact, on-site role in San Jose, CA. You will join a new R&D team focusing on MW-scale conversion platforms across AC/DC, DC/DC, HVDC, and inverter architectures for data centers and energy infrastructure.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and hands-on lab validation, with experience in high-power systems, thermal/EMI analysis, and MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, Cadence tools.

Qualifications

• PhD in electrical engineering with power electronics focus preferred.
• Hands-on experience with high-power conversion systems and lab validation.
• Strong background in thermal/EMI analysis and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate MW-class high-power conversion systems.
• Lead topology trade-offs, efficiency optimization, and thermal/EMI analysis.
• Perform hands-on lab bring-up, testing, and debugging of prototypes.
• Develop reference designs; collaborate with global teams.
