Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Engineering Liaison - MVCA - 1st shift at Arden, NC. The role interfaces engineering to order with manufacturing to ensure manufacturable, high-quality outputs and to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, cost and delivery.

The position emphasizes supporting build execution, reducing rework, and driving continuous improvement within operations. A strong emphasis on communication and detail is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC; relocation not offered.
• Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geography requirement.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will act as the day-to-day technical point of contact between engineering and manufacturing for active manufacturing orders.
• Clarify engineering intent, design assumptions and configuration details to manufacturing teams during build execution.
• Support shop floor questions related to drawings, BOMs, routings, wiring, layouts, and assemblies.
• Coordinate and support Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and engineering updates during production.
• Identify impact of manufacturing changes to upcoming orders to drive resolution before start of manufacturing orders.
• Collaborate daily with peers and manufacturing teams; work with minimal supervision.
