Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Engineering Liaison - MVCA - 1st shift in Arden, NC. The role translates engineering intent into manufacturable outputs, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while supporting production teams.

The position collaborates with COE, COD, and shop floor teams to minimize rework and coordinate engineering updates. Competitive hourly pay and a growth-friendly environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No immigration sponsorship for CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, or work visa.
• No relocation offered; reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing/production experience within the product line.
• Two-year degree preferred but not required; equivalent knowledge may substitute with 10 years of experience.
• Experience with Autodesk products; familiarity with AS400, MCNs, and POM is a plus.
• ELSS or Lean knowledge is beneficial; good understanding of plant processes such as punching, forming, painting, and harness building.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day to day technical point of contact between engineering and manufacturing for active manufacturing orders.
• Clarify engineering intent, design assumptions and configuration details to manufacturing teams during build execution.
• Support shop floor questions related to drawings, BOMs, routings, wiring, layouts, and assemblies.
• Coordinate and support Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and engineering updates during production.
• Identify impact of manufacturing changes to upcoming orders to drive resolution prior to the start of manufacturing orders.
• Read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams; work with supervisor to follow standard procedures; provide constructive feedback.
