POSITION PURPOSE:
The HS Assistant Musical Director/Technical Director supports the district. General duties are described below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supervises students during crew calls and performances.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Background in technical theater. (Minimum of 5 years practical technical theater experience required; technical theater college coursework or a technical theater degree preferred.)
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY, AND SKILL: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, parents, and the district communities; skill in oral and written communication.

The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff. The specific vision requirements of the job include good depth perception and occasionally being able to see objects/persons at a distance. While performing the duties of the job the employee frequently is required to hear conversation in quiet as well as noisy environments and be able to tell where a sound is coming from. The employee must be able to communicate with the students in order to give directions.
