Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Presides as Co-Director and musical director for the production.
• Selects music and organizes auditions for the cast.
• Runs blocking and run-through rehearsals with a student cast.
• Manages rehearsal calendar and coordinates with crew and staff.
• Attends rehearsals and pre-production meetings, communicates needs.
• Collaborates with choreographer, stage manager, set designer and costumer.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Presides as Co-Director ofthe production
• Presides as the musical director of the production
• Selects music for production
• Organizes auditions for the production
• Runs blocking and run-through rehearsals of a cast of students
• Organizes the rehearsal and tech/stage crew calendar
• Attends all rehearsals & pre-production meetings
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, patience, good communication skills, and creativity with the staff, students, and parents
• Works in conjunction with Co-Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Set Designer and Costumer to manage the overall production
• Communicates with parents as to the participants' responsibilities and volunteer opportunities
• Communicates with administration as to the production's needs and advertising in the community
