The Tech Director will collaborate with the director of the fall musical and the competition play director, as well as CPS Tech Director Tom Peterson, to educate, supervise and manage students across most areas of technical design including sound, lighting, scenic, costumes and properties. The Tech Director will also oversee all technical aspects of the theatre while in use by the theatre guild, ensuring proper use and care of equipment and facility, training users in operation of theatrical lighting and sound, and maintaining and suggesting repairs for facility and equipment. This is a non‑FTE position linked to two stipends in the Chelmsford teachers' contract: Musical Assistant (2A) and Drama Club Assistant Director (2A).
