Fair Trade Services in Brentwood, TN is seeking a detail-driven Label Royalties Manager to own the royalty cycle from data review to statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments to artists, producers, and partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of royalty experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Curve or similar systems; NetSuite experience preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Music Business, or related field—or at least five years of directly related music-royalty experience in lieu of a degree.
• Four to six years of progressively responsible music-royalty administration experience.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, plus proficiency with a royalty system such as Curve.
• Experience interpreting contracts, administering licenses, setting up products, calculating royalties, preparing statements, and reconciling accounts.
• Strong analytical judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities and solve complex problems.

Responsabilités

• Own key elements of the royalty cycle, including data preparation and review of sales data.
• Maintain royalty-system setup and process royalty statements.
• Manage recoupments and reconcile artist balances.
• Support financial reporting related to royalties and licensing terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external payees to ensure accurate payments.
