Job description

Music Marketing & Campaign Operations Coordinator

Company: ATG Media

Location: Los Angeles (on-site)

Type: Full-time

Reports to: Director of Content Distribution

Compensation: $50k-60K depending on experience

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Music Marketing & Campaign Operations Coordinator to support the execution and day-to-day management of digital marketing campaigns across the music industry.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on music marketing experience who understands how digital and social campaigns come together and is comfortable working across campaign execution, vendor and creator coordination, reporting, and backend systems.

You’ll work on a wide variety of artist campaigns spanning Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock, Afrobeats, and more, helping ensure campaigns are organized, executed on schedule, and accurately tracked from start to finish.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced role requiring someone who can manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, communicate directly with vendors, creators, and clients, and stay on top of the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Campaign Execution & Support
  • Assist in launching and executing digital and social campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other platforms.
  • Coordinate with vendor pages, creators, and social accounts to schedule, confirm, and execute campaign posts.
  • Track post URLs, timing, deliverables, and campaign status across every active campaign.
  • Support the execution of campaigns from initial launch through completion and reporting.
  • Assist in the conceptualization and execution of creative marketing ideas and digital campaigns.
  • Work across a wide variety of artist releases spanning Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock, Afrobeats, and more.
  • Manage multiple active campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Backend, Tracking & Systems Management
  • Own the accuracy and organization of our campaign backend, ensuring campaigns, accounts, posts, and deliverables are logged and up to date.
  • Maintain internal systems used to manage campaign activity, tracking, and reporting.
  • Log campaign activity, post URLs, performance information, and other relevant campaign details.
  • Generate campaign reports and ensure reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Maintain clean, organized records across all internal systems.
  • Identify missing information, follow up with the appropriate parties, and keep campaign records current.
Vendor & Creator Coordination
  • Communicate directly with vendor pages, creators, and social accounts regarding post scheduling, campaign details, approvals, and confirmations.
  • Follow up with vendors and creators to ensure campaigns remain on schedule.
  • Help troubleshoot scheduling or execution issues and escale when necessary.
  • Submit vendor invoices for payment and help ensure campaign-related documentation is complete.
  • Maintain and update our vendor and creator contact database.
Client & Campaign Communications
  • Assist with routing client draft approvals, revisions, and campaign updates.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients, vendors, creators, and internal team members.
  • Follow up on outstanding approvals, assets, posts, and deliverables to keep campaigns moving.
  • Maintain clear, timely written communication across email, Slack, and other internal and external communication channels.
Administrative & Team Support
  • Keep client-facing documents, campaign materials, and other resources organized and accessible.
  • Assist with calendar coordination and internal team scheduling as needed.
  • Handle general administrative and operational tasks that help keep campaigns and the broader team running smoothly.
  • Support the team with additional campaign and operational needs in a fast-moving environment.
What You're Bringing
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in music marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, campaign operations, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in music marketing is required.
  • Hands-on experience working on digital or social media campaigns is required.
  • Experience working with artists, creators, vendor pages, social accounts, or music‑industry marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.
  • A genuine understanding of music marketing and how digital campaigns are executed, not simply an interest in music or culture.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience tracking campaign activity, deliverables, posts, URLs, or other campaign data.
  • Experience working with Google Workspace, Slack, and other project management or backend systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities in a high-volume, fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and proactively following up to keep campaigns moving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate directly and professionally with vendors, creators, clients, and internal team members.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Curious, collaborative, and committed to breaking barriers and pursuing excellence.
  • A strong understanding of current music, digital culture, social platforms, and trends in music marketing.
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Experience managing campaigns involving creator/influencer posts, vendor pages, or music-focused social accounts.
  • Experience working directly with artists, labels, agencies, vendors, creators, or clients.
  • Experience using internal project management, campaign tracking, or backend systems to manage large volumes of campaign data.
  • Familiarity with campaign reporting, post tracking, social scheduling, and digital marketing workflows.
  • A strong working knowledge of how music campaigns move from strategy and approvals through execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience working across multiple artist campaigns or releases at the same time.
