Job description

You saw the trending audio three weeks before the brands got to it. You already know which brand ran with the trend and nailed it and which one embarrassed itself. That instinct is the part of this job we can’t teach.

We’re The Y Collective, a social-first agency for better-for-you CPG. We work with brands that have an actual reason to exist, a WHY, or a "Y" as we call it around here. We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator, and we’re looking for exactly that person.

We’re not the agency that shows up for a monthly call. We sit inside our clients’ teams, we know what’s coming before it’s announced, and we build every program from strategy up. Nothing here gets copied over from the last account.

What we believe is simple. Good work belongs to good people, and good food belongs to all people. We take on brands we’d recommend to our own families, and we ship work we’re happy to put our names on.

We’re small, we move fast, and everyone here touches real work. There’s no layer of account people standing between you and the brand.

Here’s the role. You’ll work right next to our Marketing Manager on social, influencer, and content across our client roster. It’s hands-on. You’ll be in the studio, in the comments, in the creator inboxes, and in the files that keep all of it from falling apart. Do this well and you’ll learn more in a year here than in three years somewhere bigger, and we’ll keep handing you more. That’s not a recruiting line. It’s how most of this team got where they are.

The Details
  • Pay: $27-35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week
  • Location: Must be LA-based, in person 1-2 days per week at our West LA studio
What You’ll Own
  • The studio. Props, inventory, and making sure every shoot day starts ready instead of scrambling.
  • Content. You’ll be making it, not just scheduling it.
  • Creators. You’re the point person who keeps them informed, on time, and taken care of, backing up our Social Media Managers.
  • The files. The kind of organization that lets everyone else move fast.
Who You Are
  • Chronically online. You know the sound, the format, and the joke before the brands do.
  • Hungry. You want a real career out of this, and you’ll outwork the room to get it.
  • Dependable. We’re small enough that what you own actually matters, and you like it that way.
What This Role Actually Is

You’ll report to our CEO and support our social media managers in keep social, influencer, and content programs moving across client accounts. In practice that means creators who stay in contactand on schedule, a community that actually gets answered, shoots that have everything they need, and files anyone on the team can find in ten seconds.
