Guitar Center is seeking a Lessons Associate in San Jose to ensure a great experience for customers and students. You will sell lesson and rehearsal packages, assist customers with questions, and provide tours of the Lessons facility.

Responsibilities include increasing student counts, maintaining curriculum sales data, and adapting pacing to individual students, while upholding a high level of customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 5lbs.
• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Retail or music-store background a plus.
• Ability to explain products and services clearly.

Responsibilities

• Increase the student count within the lesson program and drive retention.
• Sell lesson packages and rehearsal space to prospective students.
• Maintain curriculum sales information and records.
• Provide a positive experience by tailoring pacing to the student’s needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
