Job summary

UW-La Crosse is seeking instructors to join an ongoing pool for Music. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, maintaining currency in the subject area, and providing regular feedback to students.

Instructors may teach face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats and support student success. The department emphasizes service to the college and rigorous academic standards, with opportunities to advise students and contribute to curriculum development within the Music

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department or significant progress toward a doctorate.
• Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.
• Post-baccalaureate certification or licensure may be considered in rare circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
