Job summary

University of Wisconsin–La Crosse is maintaining a pool of qualified instructors for the Dance program. Instructors will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses across face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats, under the supervision of the relevant department chair.

Responsibilities include preparing for classes, maintaining currency in the subject area, evaluating student work, and providing regular feedback.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate, or equivalent qualifications as described.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for courses and assess student performance.
• Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serve as initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
