Job summary

Ogden City Economic Development Division, Union Station - Cultural Services, is seeking a Part-time Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, schedule, engage and support volunteers for daily museum operations and the guest membership program.

The role includes maintaining records, outreach promotion, and collaborating with staff to ensure a welcoming visitor experience. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred in relevant fields.
• 3+ years in volunteer coordination or membership services.
• Valid Utah driver's license within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, and support museum volunteers.
• Serve as primary contact for volunteer questions and concerns.
• Track and report volunteer participation and membership activity.
• Coordinate volunteer assignments for daily operations.
• Administer the guest membership program, including enrollments, renewals, and benefits.
• Maintain accurate volunteer and membership records.
• Collaborate with museum staff to ensure a welcoming visitor and member experience.
