Job summary

The Cleveland Museum of Art is hiring part-time, temporary Visitor Service Associates to handle ticket orders and memberships in person or by phone using a computerized system. You will welcome visitors, help them navigate the CMA, and oversee their experience in exhibition spaces to ensure a great visit.

Position is fast-paced and requires strong communication; shifts are approximately 21-28 hours per week, including weekends and evenings. Off-site assignments at Transformer Station may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or helpful experience in customer service.
• Excellent organization, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Computer proficiency and ticket selling experience are desired.
• Ability to adapt to various situations and handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process ticket orders and museum memberships in person or by phone.
• Welcomes visitors and assists with navigation and overall experience within the CMA.
• Assist with customer interactions and ensure a positive visit experience.
• May serve at Transformer Station for off-site exhibitions.
