Job summary

Houston Museum of Natural Science is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative for Visitor Services. You will greet guests, explain tickets and memberships, and assist across multiple venues such as our Giant Screen Theater, Planetarium, Butterfly Center, and exhibition halls.

The role requires friendly, reliable staff able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Available to work 2–3 days a week, including evenings and weekends.
• Interest in science and history.

Responsibilities

• Present a welcoming, safe and fun environment for museum guests.
• Explain museum tickets, venues, and guest services to visitors.
• Explain membership levels and benefits to guests.
• Greet guests, scan and verify tickets, provide exhibit information.
• Perform usher duties in Giant Screen Theater and Planetarium.
• Assist guests at the Museum Services Information Desk and handle requests.
