Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the curator, this position cleans historical interior elements, rooms, and collections at Meadow Brook Estate, ensuring a safe, clean environment for Meadow Brook Hall's historical resources.
This position will carry out routine building and collections care duties according to schedules and seasonal needs. The person will identify the need for any non-routine building maintenance or repairs and consult with the Curator to determine appropriate procedures with regard to historic preservation guidelines and standards.
This position will support the Curator with handling collection objects, prepping for special displays and exhibits. The person’s schedule will balance the needs of collections care, education, interpretation, and visitor safety and experience. The holder of this position will have a team approach and work well with staff, volunteers, and the public.
