Job summary

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is seeking a Store Shipping & Receiving Clerk II to support warehouse operations and web store fulfillment. This full-time, onsite role contributes to meeting monthly and annual sales goals through accurate shipping, receiving, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, PO data, inventory records, packing, labeling, and supporting the Accounting Assistant with vendor data.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework or BA degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in book or other retail sales (or equivalent).
• Experience in warehousing, receiving, buying or shipping.
• Ability to work with the public; must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with computerized inventory and shipping platforms.
• Proficient with recent versions of Excel, Word, Teams, Shipstation, and UPS WorldShip.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchase order data, process cost variances and price changes; complete data entry and invoice resolution using TeamWork inventory system.
• Process all incoming shipments, prepare shipping documents, pack/unpack, label merchandise, and ensure accurate receipt and stock.
• Maintain purchase order records and files; reconcile discrepancies with vendors; communicate as needed.
• Prepare invoices for payment, track vendor shipments for returns of damaged items.
• Coordinate movement of merchandise from stockroom to sales floor and support warehouse team; assist with inventory counts.
