Job summary

The Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, CA seeks a part-time Museum Store Associate to assist with daily operations of the Museum Store. The role focuses on inventory management, merchandising, customer service, and supporting online orders.

Responsibilities

• With the Museum Store Manager, monitors inventory levels, storage and supplies.
• Keeps store stocked, clean and orderly.
• Facilitates annual physical inventory count with Floor Lead.
• Creates displays and signage with input from Manager.
• Assists with shipments and movement of inventory to sales floor or backstock.
• Assists with collecting inventory from offsite storage.
• Maintains the store’s online retail site.
• Ships online orders and provides documents.
• Supports sales floor with transactions and customer assistance.
• Assists with opening and closing procedures.
• Supports special projects and supervision as needed.
