Job summary

The Speed Art Museum seeks a Private Events Coordinator to manage booking, planning, and execution of facility rentals. You will serve as primary contact for clients, translate event plans to museum teams and vendors, and help deliver welcoming events that protect the museum's collection and daily operations.

Under the Director of Private Events and Sales, you will coordinate with security, facilities, guest experience, and curatorial teams; create event timelines, floor plans, and BEOs;

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events and working with clients.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned events with clients and vendors from planning to execution.
• Create event timelines, floor plans, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Maintain accurate event information in CRM and records; serve as on-site contact.
• Ensure compliance with museum policies and safety during events.
• Collaborate with Security, Facilities, Guest Experience, and Curatorial teams.
