The Foster Museum seeks a Chief Operating Officer to build and maintain robust operating systems across people, finance, risk and facilities. This hands-on role is based on site in Palo Alto with a strong on-site presence, and includes managing budget cadence, vendor contracts, and governance support.

You will own wage and hour compliance, vendor relationships, and technology policy, while guiding the organization's internal operating cadence and strategic growth in a founder-led nonprofit

Qualifikationen

• Meaningful operations ownership in nonprofit or similar setting.
• Budget development, review, and audit support experience.
• Experience building systems, processes, and documentation.

• Own and build people operations, finance, risk/compliance, and facilities.
• Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and external legal partners.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and documentation.
• Lead capital projects and facilities planning as needed (on-site).
