Schiele Museum of Natural History in Gastonia, NC is seeking a part-time Guest Services Specialist to deliver world-class customer service to visitors, staff and members. You will greet guests, sell tickets, register participants in education programs, and support museum operations with a friendly, professional approach.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and multitasking abilities, with a flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings.

Qualificações

• Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and orient museum visitors with a cheerful, friendly approach.
• Sell admission, planetarium, gemstone mining tickets, memberships and events.
• Answer phones and transfer calls to staff.
• Maintain and reconcile cash drawer at the start and end of shift.
• Provide information on programs, hours, directions, and membership benefits.
• Coordinate group schedules with museum staff and resources.
• Provide admin support and assist with scheduling and sales duties.
