Chicago Children's Museum on Navy Pier is seeking a part-time Guest Services Team Member to welcome guests, handle admissions and memberships, and drive sales while upholding safety and customer-service standards.

The role requires 1–2 years cash handling and customer service experience, knowledge of Ventrata a plus, and strong communication with the public. Evening/weekend availability is needed. The position pays $18.03/hour plus a $0.50 bilingual differential, with law-mandated paid leave.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of cash handling and customer service experience (paid or volunteer).
• Knowledge of Ventrata or comparable ticketing software a plus.
• Open to evening and/or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests and members at admissions/membership desk following CCM policies.
• Handles cash with accuracy; maintains balanced drawer and reports at shift close.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of CCM policies, programs, promotions, and services.
• Assists guests with CCM experiences and programs; shares information with visitors.
• Resolves guest issues in person, by phone, or email in coordination with supervisors.
