Job summary

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Inc. seeks a Concierge Specialist to deliver high-quality service at the Concierge Desk and across museum operations. You will interact with visitors, members, donors, and staff in person, by phone, and online to ensure an informative, pleasant experience.

You will be cross-trained to support the call center, box office, and group arrivals while maintaining data accuracy in admissions software and CRM, and upselling tickets, memberships, and programs.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospitality experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Experience with data entry and basic software procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service at the Concierge Desk and assist callers, in-person, and online visitors.
• Educate self on museum events and create visit itineraries based on interests and time.
• Sell and upsell memberships, tickets, school trips, and group events.
• Maintain data in admissions software/CRM and ensure privacy standards.
• Cross-train to support call center, box office, and group arrivals.
