Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Maintenance Porter (Driving) for Museum Medical Garage in Houston. The role involves facility maintenance tasks and frequent customer interaction as you drive in and out of the garage, with a 10:00 am–6:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday.

Pay is $15 per hour and is a full-time position within Parking Operations. Responsibilities include cleaning, equipment servicing, safety checks, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; facility maintenance experience may be required depending on assignment.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including potential weekends.
• Oral communication: clear speaking; слушать and respond to questions.
• Written communication: able to read and interpret written information.
• Physical conditioning to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is tidy and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Sweep, clean, and sanitize entrances, exits, rails, offices, and restrooms.
• Empty trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
• Paint surfaces as directed to maintain neat appearance.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and manage oil spills safety.
• Submit repair requests and check safety items such as gate arms.
• Assist customers within the facility and resolve complaints with supervisor support.
• Maintain neat uniform and appearance during shifts.
