Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a dedicated facility maintenance associate to support garage operations in a fast-paced environment. The role includes cleaning, upkeep of entrances, painting, and basic repairs while ensuring a safe, welcoming space for customers.

The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and may require shift flexibility including weekends. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• May require facility maintenance, electrical and/or painting experience depending on assignment.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure facility cleanliness.
• Walk garage daily to identify maintenance problems and address them.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, and restrooms.
• Paint surfaces as directed to keep facilities neat and presentable.
• Replace burned out bulbs and manage oil spill cleanups.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests to the Facility Manager.
• Inspect safety items like gate arms and ticket systems for proper operation.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints with supervision as needed.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance for scheduled shifts.
