Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Maintenance Porter in Houston to perform facility maintenance, cleaning, and customer service duties. The role requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or combination of experience and education.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements; weekend work may be required.
• Oral Communication: Clear spoken English.
• Written Communication: Clear written English.
• Physical Demands: Lift 50 pounds or more; able to work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure facility is clean and safe.
• Walk garage daily to identify and address maintenance problems.
• Paint surfaces as directed to keep facilities neat and presentable.
• Replace burned out bulbs and manage basic repairs or maintenance requests.
• Assist customers and communicate effectively with the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
