Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; BA preferred.
• 5+ years in facilities, building ops, or related field.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and external service providers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Problem solving, sound judgment, adaptable to changing conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, partners and the public.
• Familiarity with basic building systems, safety requirements.
• Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office suite.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day condition, operation, maintenance and security of Museum buildings and grounds.
• Coordinate grounds maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, waste removal and site services.
• Inspect building/grounds; identify maintenance and safety needs for systems and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs; determine when outside contractors are needed.
• Monitor HVAC, environmental, fire, security and safety systems; coordinate inspections and repairs.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, warranties and contractors.
• Solicit proposals, coordinate access for contractors, monitor project completion.
• Coordinate procurement of facilities supplies within approved budgets.
• Identify long-term maintenance and capital needs; assist leadership with planning and budgeting for improvements.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Board's Building and Grounds Committee.
• Coordinate parking operations with management; address issues and opportunities with leadership.
• Monitor parking lot operations, maintenance, signage, and customer experience; coordinate with management.
• Coordinate Museum programs, events, and private rentals affecting parking operations.
• Support curatorial team with installations/deinstallations for exhibitions and KTJ Studios.
• Collaborate on public programs and events; occasional evenings/weekends commitment.
• Provide leadership for on-site events; supervise activities and rentals; document issues.
• Ensure event plans comply with policies, building requirements, safety standards, and artwork protection.
