Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in tourism, education, event management, business, or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to sell and drive revenue through events.
• Outgoing personality who enjoys working with people and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate museum programs and goals.
• Ability to lead and develop teams of staff and volunteers.
• Proven ability to organize, chair, and manage meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute Guest Engagement-led museum events and programs to maximize revenue and guest experience.
• Coordinate rental events such as weddings, holiday parties and corporate events.
• Staff day-of setup/breakdown for events and recruit/contract speakers or entertainers.
• Develop relationships with clients, vendors and team members; monitor vendors during events.
